DTCs - Diagnostic Trouble Codes
For certain vehicles you can also use your bluefin as a diagnostic tool to find faults on your vehicle, or as an immobiliser/re-mobiliser.
The diagnostic function will allow you to read your vehicle's Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). This diagnostic tool will highlight any faults with your vehicle. You will also be able to clear these DTCs from the vehicle's computer.
An example Diagnostic Trouble Code
A screen like the one above will be displayed. The DTC P0195 (note the full display message reads DTC15-P0195) represents an Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Error. Use the DTC search to the left of this page to check what other codes represent.
