I purchased a Bluefin for my Audi A3 2.0 tfsi quattro hoping to gain a slight increase in performance. Upon opening the very well packaged box i found a very nice and high quality hand set with usb data cable, cd rom and instructions. The unit really is as simple to operate as superchips claim, simply plug in to the cars diagnostic sockest and follow the on screen instructions, install the cd rom on your pc and upload your standard software to superchips, within 15 minutes i had my remap to download to the handset which you then plug back into the cars diagnostic sockeat and once again follow the on screen instructions to install the remap, simple as that. Upon test driving the car i could immediatly feel that i had more power and torque yet the car feels totally driveable, a very smooth power delivery. 2 days after the remap was installed i drove the car down to the french pyrenees, at a constant 70mph on the motorway driving down to dover the car actually returned 39mpg! that is even better than before! The car now accelorates much stronger than before and i could hardly call the car slow as standard! The upgrade has made overtaking even easier, on some mountain roads with only a short straight section of road before the next hairpin i was able to sweep past several cars that were all stuck behind a slow car at the front! In my opinion the bluefin has totally transformed my car, I was thinking of upgrading to an S3 however i will now be sticking with my current car, and if i decide to buy an S3 the first modification will be a bluefin! I think this product is fantastic with no downsides, just more smooth power and more economy, the fuel saving alone helps to pay for the bluefin!

I have had several vehicles Superchiped over the years and been blown away by the results, I just always wished I could install the upgrades myself rather than book into a garage. Well now you can, I have just received Superchips ingenious Bluefin, plug in and go system. I have to say, the system is totally fool proof, being so easy to install and gives you all the benefits and performance gains you would expect from the dealer downloads, but in addition, it makes you feel like a Formula 1 technician having total control over your vehicles performance. The Bluefin stores all your original and upgraded ECU information which allows you to re-install either map at anytime which can come in very handy if your vehicle needs to go into the dealers for service etc. Credit where credit`s due guys, your Bluefin is awesome, as were the results I recieved when using it on my TDV8 Range Rover Sport. Would just like to say how pleased I am with the service and improvement on my Audi S3 2.0 TFSi with your Bluefin unit. Ordered on tuesday recived on Thursday. I had a little bit trouble installing the CD on my computer, phoned up was put to a very helpful patient man, who explained my drivers had not uploaded, talked me through what to do and sorted it quickly. Uploaded original map, recived new map in about 20mins. Put it on car much better still nice and smooth, just a bit more kick when the power comes in. Just back from having car rolling roaded it made 326 bhp just with the Bluefin and 339 tourqe.

Just a quick message to advise that the Bluefin has installed correctly this time - I recon error at my end was to blame for the initial issue, never trust a customer to do even the most simple task. Anyway all is good, my Golf Edition 30 has remarkable torque/power when needed, but can cruise along the motorway at 80 ish delivering 30 MPG plus, you are all very clever. After owning my Audi A4 B8 1.8TFSI for almost 2 years I finally decided to reflash my ecu seeking for an increase in power and response. After countless online searching for reviews and asking people in my audi club on their views of various ecu reflashing programs, I finally decided on Superchips Bluefin mainly because of it's long history when it comes to chipping and also because of it's affiliation to VW Racing. Also, I wanted a program that is linear and provide gains across the entire rev range, as opposed to some programs that causes the cars to jerk and be manically unsafe under hard acceleration. I ordered on 22 Sept 2010 and was expecting it to arrive in about 10 days at least, considering that I was in Malaysia. To my suprise, the Bluefin unit (beautifully and perfectly professionally packaged) in only 2 days! That's unbelievably fast shipping as I am about 10,000 kilometers away! Saving the car's original file and uploading the Bluefin program was a breeze. I agree to what most people say, that even a person with no technical background can do it. Even if you do run into problems, rest assured that the fantastic customer service that superchips is famous for will not fail you. In fact, I noticed that they replied my email with a solution in less than 5 minutes when I emailed them with some problems connecting to their server. Trust me, their customer service is exemplary. Now on to the drive. With the Superchips Bluefin program installed, true to their claims and what most people say, increased power is available across the entire rev range. It has really transformed my car, not to a hardcore track monster, but to a very nippy and harder accelerating machine. "A much higher sense of urgency" would be the perfect sentence to best describe the feeling. And the increased power doesn't stop all the way to the redline. The power delivery is not jerky or peaky at all, it's very linear and thus perfect for B-road drives. I now have much more confidence overtaking, and even in stop-go traffic i felt that the car is no longer sluggish like before. I remember asking myself, "why didn't I do this earlier?!? ". The past two years driving this car would have been a lot more interesting with the Superchips program. I predict that a few more Club Audi Malaysia members will soon be itching for Superchips Bluefin after they see how my car performs during our next convoy!

Why Audi don’t use this upgrade/remap as standard just defies belief. My Q7 is unbelievable now to drive constant power all the time and even I can’t believe that the fuel consumption has improved. The only thing better then Bluefin is the technical support.

I have a Skoda Octavia vRS diesel, and though it has superb handling, I felt it wouldn't harm to have a little more power (I take it on a track at least twice a year). I researched various products, and found Bluefin, who confirmed they can remap the PD engine variant I have, where others couldn't. Once received, the setup is very simple, and it takes about 20 minutes to copy the original mapping from the car, which is then uploaded to Superchips via the Internet, with the new mapping being returned within a very short time. It then takes a further 20 minutes to apply the remapping to the car. The forecast increase in bhp is around 30, taking my car up to about 200bhp, and I've no reason to doubt this. The first drive resulted in a number of expletives from me, which can be summed up in one word - wow! The car now accelerates dramatically in any gear, as the delivery of that power is spread across a much wider power band. Where before the engine could be a bit 'lumpy' at low engine revs, it is now as smooth as silk throughout the entire range. It's incredible the difference it's made, and has turned an already very good car into an excellent car - it's even better than a previous V6 2.5 litre 200bhp car I used to have. Time will tell whether my mpg will improve, as after several weeks I'm still having too much fun - but even so, it's certainly no worse. As a final comment - when I told my wife (who has no interest in such stuff) what I was planning to do, she gave me that 'look' which husbands everywhere will know. I said nothing about the results, and on her return following her first drive after the Bluefin, even she said how much smoother and better to drive it was. If you have a diesel vRS and are wondering whether to 'Bluefin' or not - just do it.

Chose the bluefin because i wanted the flexibilty to change the mapping for an Audi 1.9tdi back to original because the car still has warranty on it. The remapping via the bluefin was faultless and the result has totally transformed the car, it now drives like a golf gti I previously owned. The techies at SuperChips are more than helpful if you have any queries. Would recommend this route to anybody wanting to get more out of their Car..

This was my first experience of using Bluefin. I had a number of new octavias 140bhp done using the conventional garage installation and the results were stunning. i bought a 170bhp skoda superb auto and installed the upgrade myself. WOW. What a difference..the mid-range power is fantastic and it is no slouch from a standing start. It does 50mpg toddling along the motorway at 75 and more than that on country roads. i recently got stopped by the police doing 110 mph in my (chipped) octavia 140 auto and they let me off because he couldn't believe his readings. fantastic product.

I bought Blufin for my Ford Transit 2003 53 plate 85 260ps, I had just bought the van at the time and i travel up and down the country with my van working. I noticed that the van was heavy on the deisel so i decided to use Bluefin. Before i bought the Bluefin i made a journey from my home to Reading and back, Approx 300 miles from my house, It cost me £120 in fuel to do this journey. The next week i had the Bluefin put on my van. The week after that i made the same journey with the same miles. It cost me £85 in deisel. Check the sums out, I bought this 3 years ago with 32000 miles on the clock, The van has now done 132000 miles and still going strong. Very highly recomended.
